DIALOGUE programmes are being delivered in 2010. They will involve discussions, question and answer session with a panel covering topics such as Women in post conflict Northern Ireland and the forthcoming European elections. These programmes are delivered through our 23 RPMA's (Regional Project Management Agencies) and funded under our Peace III project in partnership with our lead partner, Training for Women Network (TWN). Women into Politics has been running a project available for young women aged 16-25 since April 2007. Currently programmes are being delivered in the South West. Please contact Mary Catherine for further information. The Politics 4 Youth programme is designed to be engaging, interesting and relevant to the lives of young women across Northern Ireland. For more information please visit the Youth webscontact the office. The principle aims of the programme are to: - Raise political awareness and understanding of decision making processes.
- Promote politics (at all levels) as a career option for young women.
- Highlight the relevance of politics to the lives of young women.
- Increase the confidence of young women.
